God is good.

Last week to taste amazing Thai food. Last few times to visit smiling Thai faces. A land I have come to love, people I have come to care for. What a wonderful nation the Lord has created.

Being here in Asia has been a wonderful experience. We have all been truly blessed by the Lord's goodness. Here we've experienced His beauty, more of His glory and His heart for more of His people.

Riding up into the mountains, seeing star filled skies, deep pink sunrises, playing volleyball in a village, performing dramas for hill tribes, dancing for underprivileged children, singing for Churches, building relationships with women, evangelizing to university students, becoming more intimate with our Creator have all been bits and pieces that I will always remember.

But the most important thing I have learned here is I can do NOTHING without the Lord. He gives me strength, He gives me grace, He gives me patience, He gives me care, He gives me humility, He gives me love, He gives me a plan and He gives me life. What an AWESOME God we serve.

I'm excited to see what the Lord has in store for me. I know it will be beautiful. There's nothing I would rather do than serve our Lord. I want to walk in the ways of God, I desire to follow His calling and I long to fulfill the dreams that He has placed in my heart.

Even though this is the last week of outreach abroad I don't want to emotionally 'check out.' I know the Lord has amazing things stored up for this week and I'm not about to miss out on any of it. This is one more week to make a difference in loved hearts.

Please pray that this team will stay strong past the finish line, that we won't miss out on any opportunity, that the Lord will set up divine appointments for us and that we will see the Lord move in this place. I believe that this can be the best week of outreach.

I want to share this song with you, it has been on repeat on my iPod for the last few days. I speaks volumes to my heart and I hope it does to yours too.

"Sovereign Hands"

"Nailed to a humble cross
Scars You bear
Speak of Your redeeming love

No wonder I call you the Saviour
No wonder I'm singing

God of all the heavens
Now and 'til forever
High above the universe

God of our redemption
God of my surrender
The glory is Yours

Sovereign God
Laying down a holy life
Heaven's Son
Willing to be crucified

No wonder I call You Saviour
No wonder I'm singing

Open hands
Given for a sovereign cause
All I have
God will be forever Yours

No wonder I call You Saviour
No wonder I'm singing

Holy, holy, holy Lord
Holy, holy, holy Lord"

Even though we haven't witnessed any physical healings, even though we've not witnessed someone coming to Christ, we've experienced the Lord moving in Thailand. We've been planting seed and even if we never see the fruit from that seed, we have still played a part in that process. We didn't come on outreach with the right to see people come to Christ, we came on outreach expecting to see God move, and we have.

Children's joy as we play with them and let them know they are loved, women smiling and laughing as we spend time with them, showing them that we care, tourists learning about why we are here and opening their hearts to more of Christ.

All things we do are to glorify God. All things we have done are an expression of our love for Him.

May you all be blessed as you serve Him in your different jobs and lives. Lets glorify Him in everything we do!
