another team has come and gone.

All the girls from YWAM Charlotte and New Jersey! Wonderful people.

Another team has come for Mission Adventures, worked hard, learned a lot, been fired up with passion and returned to their home town in New Jersey. The week was very similar to the last missions trip, Front Porch, helping locals with their yard, evangelism and working a lot with kids. The house was quiet the first few days but as everyone opened up and became more comfortable with each other and us, the house was filled with laughter. The card game Mao was played almost every night, a rather uncontrollable water fight took place, stories were shared, cookies were munched on and the Holy Spirit filled the house and each of us with His awesome presence.

On the last night, several healings took place. Pastor Lou (their team leader) began praying for our friend Aaron's back then the Holy Spirit took over and he was healed, his wife Sarah came in with knee problems...healed. Tracy was next with her wheat intolerance...healed and another guy, Mikey had pain in his shoulder...completely healed. Praise the Lord!

All of the people in this group became so dear to my heart in many different ways. I will miss them.

This week has been another week of planning, intercession, office work-we totally rearranged our entire office and have sorted through everything...I'll upload pics when I can. I get very excited about organisation things like that. :)

I'll be staying in Charlotte next week, there was some talk of me going to New Orleans but to be honest I'm thankful that I'll get to stay back and help do the kitchen with my friend Brittany. Tomorrow we have to head to Wal-Mart to buy food for 35 people for a week! Should be fun.

The team arrives on Saturday evening, they are from my friend Berkeley's Church in Virginia. Please pray for them, as they prepare for coming here, that it will be a time of growing, seeking God, yearning for more, being a blessing to others. Also with God working inside each of the youth ~ "chains will be broken, lives will be healed, eyes will be opened and Christ will be revealed."
