Another race finished. As one of my friends always said, "run the race and sprint across the finish line." Meaning we should never give up or slow down during the race, we should finish strong in the power of our God.

For myself, each Mission Adventure Trip is an individual race. No matter how tired or stressed I get, I don't want to loose my focus or slow down.

This last trip was based here in Monroe, North Carolina. Instead of doing only childrens ministries the whole day we decided it was time for some variety, so one afternoon was spent going to the local Crisis Pregnancy Centre, folding baby clothes which got a lot of "aww" responses from the girls, cleaning and helping with admin work. Another day we provided food for the Monroe Homeless Shelter, served it up and talked with those in need. A couple times we picked up our 'Prayer Changes' vests, jumped in our big grey van and headed to downtown Charlotte to share our King's love. We had some encouraging responses and some not so encouraging responses, but as long as we're planting a seed into these peoples lives it's a start.

Each evening we had prayer, worship, testimonies, videos and a talk on purpose, proclamation, passion and purity. I shared about my DTS (trying to recruit people!) and a story from my India trip.

At night it was time for fun!!! Alien Invasion (a mass game in the dark with screaming, running and chasing) was a hit as well as a few Korean games we learned.

I cannot believe that Mission Adventures is over already, time flies when you are busy and having fun.

I have a mere week left here in Monroe before I head back to my island. And then? Only God knows.

Please pray for strength and energy as well as words from the Lord as to September time. Thank you! :)
